The procedures in the Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manual are guidelines that will aid in the installation of PAPCO expansion joints.
Procedures may have to be modified due to conditions at the job site or because of the physical size of the expansion joint. However, no matter what the conditions it is always important to prevent damage from careless handling and to keep expansion joints supported during installation. Theinstallation contractor/personnel must refer to the latest revision of the specific expansion joint’scertified drawing to use in conjunction with the manual. The data contained on the certified drawing will at all times supercede any recommendations set forth herein. PAPCO Industries will bear no responsibility for expansion joints installed in a fashion contrary to the latest revision of the certified drawing.
